Day 6

Me thinks she's still a work in progress... 

Had to go out yesterday and shovel the driveway and today I am paying for it... :( 

It doesn't help that the tempts have dropped to 4˚ and the windchill is -15˚ I am so DONE with winter this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay.... I'll stop whining :)

Day 5

...it's another cold and snowy day here in Missouri. I am so ready for SPRING and warm sunshine with green grass and FLOWERS ♥

This is how I'm feeling most days now... I need sunshine to wake up my brain!

Day 4 

Feeling more into it today :) 

Even if it is snowing again and the road department has called it a no travel day. Too bad work will still be open and expecting everyone to come in. Still haven't made up my mind on that one yet. Since I have a closing shift we'll wait and see.

Not liking the neck on this one and may rework it later but for now it's done .....

Day 3 

Struggling today.... eyes are really wonky and the news at the doctors was not what I wanted to hear. :(  Things are not going well and I will be looking for another Doctor to get a second opinion and all of that good stuff... 

So here is my half hearted  art for the day and tomorrow will be better....

29 Faces in Feb 2014

Day 1 !

At last February is here and 29 Faces begins again :) 

Thank YOU Martha of Ayala Art for doing this amazing challenge again. I can honestly say that this challenge has helped me develop  more artist skills than any other challenge I've done. I was terrified of doing faces before and it showed in my art. Doing them every day for a month the first time got me over that fear and I was able to relax and actually learn to do faces that turn out well ( most of the time :)  ) . 

 So here is Day 1... a pencil sketch while watching TV .....

... you might also see a lot of funky hats this month as for some reason I seem to be obsessed with them right now ♥

Paint Party Friday

It's here again!!!

Paint Party Friday!!!!!!

It's been another frigid and windy week here so it was easy to stay inside and play in my art room most of the week. 

I did a random drawing/painting in my journal while I watched the Grammy's on Sunday.

 Her face and shoulders are done in colored pencils and the hair and background are painted then glazed and then little swirls drawn with a white gel pen. Have I  mentioned before that I love my white Gel Pens ♥ 

On Monday I worked on a page for my Life Book 2014 class...

Then the rest of the week I worked off and on some doodles......

of which I could only find one of so the others must be  in my locker at work. 

The eyes are still wonky and I see the doctor on Monday ...so keep your fingers crossed that the inflammation is gone and they can do the surgery on the cataracts . I'm becoming a tad bit irritable with this poor vision :(
