Paint Party Friday....

Today I joined the Fabulous Amy in one of her FREE on-line classes. We did portrait painting  on dried used teabags. It was a fun class and I got a whole passel of new information and techniques. Plus when the mailman came I got my free ATC she made a few says ago!!! It was my lucky Amy day!!!

Just wish it had been my lucky hair day :0( 

I colored my hair today to hide those silver roots that are multiplying every day. I bout the same intense dark auburn I always buy....but when I took the towel off my head my hair was BLACK! Not just very dark brown ....BLACK!!!

I checked the box and it was right ...but when I looked at the bottle of tint it said BLACK :( so I checked the box again ..cause I knew the top was sealed when I opened it.... I didn't look at the bottom before using it. Someone had opened it and re-taped it . 

Hubby says it looks good...I'm still adjusting.

Butterfly Effect---- Stamp with Zentangles

Joining in with the ever so fun people over at 

the Butterfly effect!

This weeks theme was "Stamp It!"  and I realized then that I really don't have very many stamps at all and what I do have are very small. 

I did finally find one in my stash....must organize the stash SOON!.... and this is the card I created with it. 

I love having all of these hand made cards around..they are coming in handy .

Butterfly Effect---- Something is Watching

This weeks theme at Butterfly effect is "EYES"

I decided to do another 5"x7"  blank note card on watercolor paper. It's a pen and ink drawing with ink color washes.

It's the first day of spring and I spent some time outside just breathing in fresh air ans taking pictures. 

Only one day left of my surprise vacation ans then it's back to work :0( Oh well it has been fun!

This is my Great-Niece and she just turned 17 so I wanted to try drawing her picture. I tried several times before I finally got two that actually look like her. So she gets one and so does my sister.

Paint Party Friday ...Week 1 Year 2

I just got a new box of art supplies from Dick Blick! So I  absolutely had to start playing with all of them. This is a mixed media painting done with Water soluble Oil Pastels, metallic water colors, copic markers and a

acrylic paints. Oh and some fun gel pens too!

29 Faces in February -----The Whole Picture

Here they are!!  A collective group of creations  representing my creative efforts for one month. I did manage to do a couple of  other pieces during the month and they may show up here at some point. Right now I just want to breathe a little bit and start off with something new tomorrow ;0)
