It's Friday!!!
I don't know about where you are but here in Missouri it's wet and cold again :( I'm more than done with this damp chilly weather and all of the aches and pains that come with it!
So to get myself out of the weather funk today I decided to finger paint!!!
I've been following
Naomi Silver
on facebook and lover her style.
Check her art out here :
Since my new studio will be in the basement and I want to make it as bright as possible I painted a big bold bright scene on plywood for the room .
I can pretend I'm at the beach while I'm in my room playing :)
Linking this to---
and a little thought for the day too :)
What a great quote and oh so true. That piece is going to liven up your new work space or should I say "studio." Yay! We all need our own space to work in, with lots of color surrounding us, maybe some music, and just the alone time with the paints and how it makes us feel. I'm happy for you, enjoy. Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you tried finger painting!
ReplyDeletefinger painting is great fun and that will brighten up your space perfectly... hope the weather turns for you soon...xx
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that'll certainly give you a warm sunny feeling in your new studio. Love that quote too!
ReplyDeleteLove your bright and sunny painting! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your bright sunny painting too! Finger painting would be fun but I don't think I would do to great! Hope we get to see some pictures of your new space. And can you believe this weather. At 2am this morning we were out unhooking the hoses because our temp thingie on the thermostat for the heat pump said it was 32 degrees outside. And by "we" I do mean CH.. :) The Wearher Channel showed SNOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteWho care what the weathers like when you can finger paint such a fabulous scene? The sun will always be shining in your studio!!
ReplyDeleteImagination has no limits and yours has resulted in a beauty. Saludos
ReplyDeletethis will look wonderful and inviting in your new studio.
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF, Annette x

Lovely and so expressive ~ will definitely brighten up your studio ~ Happy PPF ^_^
ReplyDeleteThanks for 'visiting' .
Let's hear it for moving to the basement! They aren't all dark and dreary, and with paintings like this, yours will be so light you will need sunglasses.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! It is wet, cold, windy, and dark where I live on the Oregon Coast. Finger paint that would make me feel better. Love yours.
