WOW! What a great and crazy week it has been here!!! Lots of good things going on but we'll start with my HAPPY NEWS!!
Some of you know that a few weeks ago I rescued a Yorkie puppy off the highway . The owners didn't show up until after 9 days and I was totally attached to the little guy. Plus it was obvious that the owner was not a responsible pet owner and it broke my heart to leave him there.
Well this week my husband surprised me with this little princess...
She's 6 months...completely house trained and came full loaded with accessories.
Her precious owner did not know she was pregnant when she bought her and with two other very small children she didn't think she would be able to give the puppy the attention she needed. So she made the decision to re-home her while she was still young.
Her name is Mini Me and she has completely stolen my heart. She and our other dog get along fantastically and he is so happy to have a playmate....even if she is only weights 7.5 pounds and he weighs 50. :)
This is my husband getting lots of attention from the two dogs ♥
Now to the art. ♥♥♥♥
I'm still working on lessons from the
CHILDREN OF THE WILD
WORKSHOP
Here is the one I finished this week ...
He is painted on a vintage napkin that I adhered to a 12 X 12 in gallery wrapped canvas....
.... then I applied gesso, papers, and texture before painting.
The background has about 6 layers of paints and glazes. I'm very happy with the way this one turned out. :)
