Paint Party Friday.....Week 33....


I'm trying hard to embrace the change in the weather.....I'm a summer person at heart and it's hard for me to accept. I love the beauty of fall but don't like the cold weather that kills all of the beautiful blooms of summer. 
This is another mixed media painting.
The background is watercolors the big leaf colored pencils and the fall scene at the bottom is magazine pieces and acrylic paints. It's done in my art journal so it will be staying with me :)

    I love the background and of course the beautiful fall leaves. I'm with you, a summer person, but I think I just have to get used to the cold and it's not even that cold yet!

    Great art! The yellow in the center of the leaf reminds me of summer's sun and how it is fading out as fall takes over.
