Paint Party Friday and The Butterfly Effect

It's Friday again!!!!
Time for two of my favorite challenges.
Every week I say I'm going to get down earlier and it never happens. Something always happens and I rush in at the last minute.
So here I am again squeaking in at the last minute.
This weeks challenge at The Butterfly Effect was:
"STAR TREK"

This has been one of the most fun projects I've done in a long time.
It's a mixed media project to the max and I think my oldest grandson is going to really like this one.
First I did the background using two of those fantastic tint patterns I'm alway taking photos of at work.
I printed them on tissue paper and glued them to a 12 X16 inch canvas board.I tried really hard to draw a good "Enterprise" but after several failed attempts I printed one on another sheet of tissue paper and glued it to the picture.
Then came Capt. Kirk :0) he turned much better than my space ships.
So I'm linking this to:
Paint Party Friday
and

now I'm off to check out great artist at both sites :0)

  14. Thanks for stopping by my blog! If you don't mind my asking, how do the white Uniballs do with writing over (dry) paint? I've found gelly roll pens do fine, but I'm tired of ruining all my Sharpies :)
