Another Friday already and time to join Eva and Kristin in another fun Paint Party Friday!!! Thank you ever so much for hosting this...some weeks it's the only motivator I have for my art.
Last week I thought I posted a couple of WIP photos but I don't see them ...so here they are (hopefully) again.
The on going flower theme :)
This week I worked on one of them for a bit and this is where it is now...
It's not done yet....but I'm still not sure where it's going.
Rain and cold weather has moved back in and I've had "down" time this week. My body reacts unfavorably to weather changes and I just have to let it rest a lot when that happens. I did get some flower photos and since some of you asked me to share last week here are a few.
Ok so maybe it was more than a few...but you did ask :)

ReplyDeleteSo glad you shared your flowers and your flowers. I keep going on a flower kick too. I don't do well with changing weather either and flowers make me smile! Yours put a big smile on my face, thank you and happy PPF! Hugs Rasz
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers and thanks for sharing...the real and beautiful painting! I can relate, my body reacts to weather too! I have a theory that it's to warn us to get in the cave....lol Happy ppf!

Beautiful flower paintings! This is a great time of year to be inspired by flowers. Your first iris is awesome Carol! Hope you enjoy your weekend, I think it is going to begin to warm up!
ReplyDeleteWow, it's amazing how some black marker or ink can suddenly change a piece form nice to super. Sorry to hear the weather has been acting up. Hope the sun will come back real soon, so you can continue to work in your beautiful garden....
ReplyDeleteOoohhhh your painted flowers are lovely and the photos are fab as well. Nice place you live.

I always love the pen and ink combination with paint! Great choice! It is amazing how far along your spring flowers are. Where I live the trees are starting to blossom, but the flowers are far from it!
ReplyDeleteLove your painted flowers and the photos of your flowers are awesome, too.
ReplyDeleteThe red flowers painting is looking great! And wow, all those flowers!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower painting. You have so many pretty flowers in your garden, thanks so much for sharing them. Happy PPF
