Happy Tuesday!
It's hard to believe that another week has skipped by us :(
I fell behind again on the 29 Faces Challenge.. just don't feeling up to it for a couple of days but I'm back at it again.
So here's my face # 13 which is also a journal spread for AJJ.
When ever I am having trouble staying motivated with my art I go to one of my favorite on line artist and and watch one of their instructional videos.
This one is inspired by Tam @ Willowing Arts
It's a part of a free series she offers here.
Since so many people are doing scribble art faces this time around I thought I would try on too.
Face # 13
Here is the start of face # 14 along with my drink of choice today... when ever I'm not feeling up to snuff I always drink Ginger Ale.
She may stay as she is for now because I'm really wanting to do another journal spread ...so we'll see :)
It was really cold and windy here the past few days with more snow and then ice and more snow. Even the animals were staying close together...
I was all wrapped up in a warm fuzzy blankie on the couch :) It's warming up this week and already most of the snow has melted.
Today's Random Thoughts
♥
Your journal spread is beautiful carol! and yes, Tam is so inspiring. Haven't tried a scribble face but yours looks so good! Listening to the freezing rain hitting the windows as I type-not a happy camper here at the moment but hopefully it will melt tomorrow. Thanks for the random thoughts! Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteLovely journal page, glad you are having fun with faces, and thanks for joining us at Art Journal Journey. Have a great T Day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThose animals are so adorable, cuddled together!
ReplyDeleteScribble faces are so interesting, I should try that technique also sometime. Your face turned out vivid and strong.

Well Carol, this post is wonderful. I like all your faces, and am truly impressed with the ones you have created. Never heard of scribble faces before, but you did an excellent job with yours.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be unseasonably warm here this week, so, if you get our weather, the ice and snow will be gone in no time at all.
Thanks for sharing your lovely faces and your diet drink with us for T this Tuesday. Loved the photo of the animals all snuggled together.
your quotes are always a delight for me... i think i should Bookmark them in an extra Folder for enjoying them again and again.
ReplyDeletehave a great t-day and rest of the week!
Scribble art, that is a new one. I will have a look at the site you kindly provided the link for.
ReplyDeleteYour face #13 is gorgeous, and the next one is coming on nicely.
Love the photo of your animals. It's cold here too (for our standards) temperatures around freezing point and a bit of snow.
Your quotes are very good as usual.
I haven't linked up yet for the simple reason I have not written anything yet. I will soon. We are in a bit of a situation here, which is will be resolved but you will read about it in my blog later on.
Happy T day

Nice faces!!!! And we had to cold too-glad it is gone but this big storm that moved it out isn't so fun either. Love the pup and kitty all snuggling. How CUTE! Happy T Day to you!
ReplyDeleteWonderful job on the faces. I especially liked the hair on the first one in the journal. Your dog and cat looks so cute snuggled up together. Of course, I always enjoy your quotes! Happy T Day!
ReplyDeleteI've never had Shasta ginger ale, but I do like ginger ale :)
ReplyDeleteOur temps got cold but not real cold, and we never got snow except for a flurry or two. A year ago, though, we got sleet, so we may still get something. :)
Wonderful faces Carol. I did learn that scribble technique w-a-y- back in high school. It is fun, fast and surprising how well they always turn out. You did a great job with it.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-day
Nicely done faces! I tend to fall behind on challenges too even when I'm determined to stay on track. I'm still sick as well...actually going to the dr today...something I rarely do.
ReplyDeleteShasta!! I haven't seen that pop in years!! I really thought they must have went out of business.
Happy T day!
I always enjoy your quotes at the end of your posts. Stay warm! We are unseasonable warm here this week... 70 for the next two days!! Crazy! Happy Tday! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI love your page for AJJ and your scribbly face has reminded me of some scribbly drawings I did ages ago! Love seeing the cat and dog snuggled up! Stay warm!Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteFabulous faces...the scribbles too! :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous faces...the scribbles too! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful journalspread, and I love your scribble face :-) They are so much fun to do, aren't they! Love the picture of your cat and dog lying together. So sweet ....
ReplyDeleteScribble art? Now that sounds like something I might like to try. Lovely art and quotes. Great pic of the critters, too. I forgot about that free class. I came across it long ago and thought I'd remember to come back to it--but never did. Thanks for the reminder and happy T-Day! :)
ReplyDeleteThe kitty and pupper together are darling! Your journal face is beautiful. We are headed for a warm up... :)
ReplyDeleteI really like your face #13. She indeed looks like she IS on her way. I didn't even try the 29 Faces challenge this time around. I have been battling an on-going sinus infection for over a month now and I have been extremely tired this week especially. I hope you feel better soon. Stay snuggled under that blanket for a long as you can, Carol! :-)
