Paint Party Friday.....Week 39....



She's done :0)
I tried to give her a face ...but she wasn't having any of that business. So I just gave her more hair and highlights through out the whole painting and called it quits. She will hang on my wall until it's time to go to the auction. 
I showed her off at work and a couple of people are interested in a smaller version of her so I am working on that now. Who knows if they will turn out :0) I tend to get hung up of commissioned projects. Need to work on that if I ever want to seriously sell anything. 
For now I think I will just join the cats in their favorite pastime...

.....and just lay in front of the fire and snooze!

    That's a lovely lady. She doesn't need a face, she looks just as pretty. Could curl up near that fire with your cats right now. It's a little chilly here.

    I love the sense of freedom she expresses! Lovely painting.

    The lack of face makes her anywoman - easier to connect with that way.

    are they both siamese? my "twin" siamese are like that - one is a traditional siamese cat and the other is a white flame point siamese.

    i like how you made her raised arms and flowing hair. it shows her movement. and the cats really look comfortable. no Christmas rush for them! merry Christmas and thanks for sharing!
