Paint Party Friday.....Week 42....the last for 2011

It's been a WOW kind of year here and it's hard to believe it's almost over.
With all of the hustle and bustle of the Holidays I haven't been doing too much art the past week or so. 


I sat down with my journal a couple of days ago and wrote a short message to myself. I could have listed all of the material things I received this year but I realized the the greatest gift I have is my family.... and the time I spend with them. So I printed and cut out small photos of most of them and glued them to the pages. I outlined them with glitter paint ...because they are my jewels.
I'll add the rest of the family as soon as I get more Printer ink ....sob...

    Hey Carol, We have a lot in common. I too love GWTW. Some people don't get it about Scarlett, but you would have to read the book more than once; she's more complex than people think; she does what she promises and some don't realize the bad effects Rhett had on her too; he knew it though; anyway yes family are jewels to me too.     Hi Carol. Your comment about the red fireplace on my post, yes it would be nice in your studio. I bought a fake fireplace and it heats up the studio really great. It's picture is on my sidebar. In any event, go for it, you deserve it!!
