Paint Party Friday

Hello Friday Friends!!!
After days of rains and storms the sun is shining :) It's cooler but that's ok...still warm enough to play outside.
The Peach colored Daffodils are blooming...
...when I bought these bulbs they were advertised as PINK.... yeah right. They were a paler peach the first year but never PINK. They are pretty though so I've forgiven them♥
The whites and the "Ruffles" are blooming now too..
I love the all whites of this type ♥
This fall I will be looking for more of the miniatures and  what ever other types I can find that I don't have already . Also more yellows for the front bed.
Here's where the WIP canvas looks like it might be going this week...
.... Haven't decided for sure yet.
The card that I started redoing last week...

... went this direction....

I'm calling her done again :)
I really like where she went and it shows how my face painting skills have improved over the past 3 years :)
So now I'm going to try and do something with this one this coming week...
I like having these small projects that keep me doing art....but don't cut into my gardening time at all :)

  2. Love the finished face, and looking forward to seeing the next one. Your daffodils are amazing, never seen those peachy ones before. The WIP is coming along nicely, too. Take care of yourself and don't overdo things! Hugs, Valerie

  6. I love how you fixed up the face painting. And your daffodils are so gorgeous. I love the peach throated ones. I have some in my yard. Some years the color is darker than others. I don't know why.

  7. Love your face redo-although I thought those lime green eyes were quite striking! Perhaps the lime or alkaline or acid in the soil caused the color difference? Not that I know what I'm talking about but I have read that you can change the color of hydrangeas by adding to the soil.

  8. Wow, that's a big transformation. And yes, it's very visible how your skills have improved over the years. I must say though that I like the next face you want to transform. She has a very pensive and a little bit of sad look over her that appeals to me....

  11. Art ... that doesn't cut into garden time. I can relate. For me, it's such a balancing act and I take the pressure off myself from spring to autumn ~ for making art every day, that is. I do plan to do more quick daily sketches, though. That should be doable!

But you balance it all so nicely!

And, I have daffodil envy. I saw the first of mine *just* poking through the earth in one of the warmest beds on Sunday. So ... it won't be long. I just love them!
