Paint Party Friday

Hello Friday Friends!
Didn't think I was going to have anything done this week... seems that the garden has eaten up every bit of my free time and then some. I think I can officially say I am tired of tomatoes.
Thankfully they have started slowing down now so I think I can handle the rest of the season. It was touch and go there about mid week .

This was Mondays batch and I canned more on Tuesday and Wednesday. By that time I wasn't in the mood for photos of tomatoes LOL!  But I will be happy I have them later..
Now the second crop of summer squash is starting to produce so I'll probably be whining about them next. :)  I really do love the whole process ...even when I'm feeling overwhelmed with produce.
On Thursday I started working on the WIP again....
I got this far on Thursday and then before work this morning I worked some more and then a bit after supper.
So this is where she is now...close but not finished yet. Still have to paint the feathers and then do some fine tuning here and there. It will probably be Monday or Tuesday before I get back to her.
Once this crazy month is over I will be able to get back into a regular art routine again :)

  1. Hi Carol. Love those tomatoes. Yum! Your piece is looking really outstanding. Great job. I like the quote. Thx. For stopping by my PPF post and thanks for the kind words. Thank you much.

  2. Your face is coming along very well, the dream catcher background is fantastic, what a lovely idea. Glad you are slowly getting through all the veggies etc in he garden. Hugs, Valerie

  3. I like the WIP with the dream catcher! Lucky you and those tomatoes!

  4. You did a great job on her teeth, wow! I tend to avoid doing teeth, I think it's very hard to paint. I can imagine the tomatoes growing out of your ears, but yes, I think you'll be happy to have them in the middle of winter :-)

  5. Hi Carol! You've been a busy gal...lovely art work and yummy fruits of your garden labors! I posted the ATC you sent in my T Tuesday post today...hope you can make the party!

  6. You are going to be ecstatic when you see that full pantry ready for winter! Not to mention all the love put into the canning and yourvart! Amazing!

    Hugs Giggles

  7. Wonderful face and you are so busy with your veggies! Great!
