It's Tuesday and it's very Spring like out there today :)
I did a quick walk about the yard enjoying the sunshine and fighting the wind :)
The spring flowers in front of the house are still looking good. Some of the others are already fading :( The grass is starting to work it's way into the flower bed again. So I'll have to have my helper re- edge it and get rid of the grass. I do miss not being able to do these things.

Soon what few tulips I have left will be blooming. Hopefully I'll get more of those planted this fall. The critters around here really enjoy digging them up and eating them :(
We had a new visitor at the suet feeder this week. A young Red Winged Blackbird. They don't normally feed at the feeders at all. I wanted to get more photos but the battery was near dead so this is the only one that managed to turn out. These newbies never show up when the camera is nearby and fully charged :)
Another of my most un-favored but most frequent visitors.
Today's drink is coffee again :)
 The elixir of  LIFE ♥
I did manage to finish the journal page today too.
Which is about all I have accomplished this day. The back is keeping me down pretty much and the walk in the yard was not an easy one. Tomorrow I finally get the spinal injection and hopefully RELIEF!
I did manage to pick a small bunch of the different daffodils that are still blooming.
I love having fresh flowers in the house ♥
So I'm off to lay on the ice pack again .
Hopefully I'll get by to visit folks later today.

  1. Your Spring flowers look beautiful! The Red Winged Blackbird is fascinating! The journal page is fantastic! I brought some daffodils back from the caravan yesterday as by the time we go back they will have finished flowering! Happy T day! Chrisx

  2. Thanks for the little trip around the yard. The flowers are lovely.

  3. Your flowers are behind mine. My hyacinths and daffodils are mostly spent and my tulips came out on Saturday, just in time for Easter. I certainly enjoyed the walk around your yard and the bird in the feeder. Had to laugh because I have squirrel problems in my feeders, too.

Your lovely journal page is awesome. I really like it and the quote, too. You should share it with Moo-Mania and More where quotes are the theme this fortnight. I agree with it, too. I especially like how you framed the face with paint brushes. That was quite clever.

I love the daffs you picked and brought in the house. I haven't had a chance to pick any flowers yet this year. I hope to pick some tulips later in the week, though.

Sorry I was late visiting. I was gone and had NO way to check my blog or leave a message before now.

Thanks for sharing your coffee, your art, and your lovely garden with us for T this Tuesday. Thankfully, it's still Tuesday here!

  4. Very happy you are going to get some relief for your back. I have been wanting to walk but it has been so windy, I just feel battered when I get home from the wind. Our daffodils put on a show this spring and they are still hanging in there. Your flowers look so pretty in the front yard.

  5. I long so much for spring and your lovely photos make me long even more! We don´t have those red-winged birds in Europe I don´t think. At least I have never seen one. Happy T-Day!

  6. Love the journal page, and of course the spring flowers. We don't get blackbirds like that, glad you got a shot of him. I have some hyacinths, but they are in pots outside, it's still cold and very windy here, too. Hugs, Valerie

  7. Beautiful flowers and art work! Sorry I'm so late for seeing your flower beds!
