It's hard to believe we've been doing this for 3 years now!!! WOW!!!!!
Thanks so much to Eva and Kristin for making this possible and so AWESOME!!!!
Not a lot of art for me this week... we have finally had some beautiful weather and this ole girl has been "OUTSIDE!" Some days just setting in the sun and totally enjoying it and others cleaning up the yard and gardens. Feels so good to have dirt under my fingernails again !!!!
Only one painting this week :)
Another face in my journal.... I'm not sure if she is done yet or not...letting it set for a bit to decide.
A couple of doodles ...
....and that's it friends ! The pull of the Warm Sun won out this week :)
Some thoughts to share...
Don't forget to check out the other great artist this week
Just click on this picture in my side bar and it will take you right there :)
Happy St. Patty's Day :)
Hi Carol. I love your face and these wonderful quotes. I especially like the one about not letting others destroy our inner peace. Your doodles are great, makes you think. Hey, Happy PPF!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful face and love your doodles. Thank you too for the thoughts, really needed that today.
ReplyDeleteCarol, this is a beautiful face. I think it is finished. It looks complete to me. And perfectly lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Carol,
ReplyDeleteLove the art work, and the face looks beautiful already.
Can't blame you on soaking up the sun and getting your fingers dirty with soil instead of paint; a garden gives in so many ways so enjoy your time working the dormant beds, soon they will give light to beautiful paintings.
I have to agree with Gloria on the preferred quote, does really apply to me and the little voice that says it will try once more, I can truly live by these thoughts. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful face again ... She looks as if she's wondering herself whether she's done ;-) She looks done to me though. Love your doodles. And so great that you finally got spring over there!
ReplyDeleteCan't blame you one bit for enjoying he warm sun- I know my art won't be so prolific once our weather turns too:) Lovely face and your doodles- very intricate!
ReplyDeleteI admire your creative energy ! your capacity to paint, journal, doodle … AND to honor and enjoy the sunshine and utility of the season!
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for the snow to melt, but it won't be long before I'm out there soaking up the sunshine, planting seeds and the rest. :) I'm *so* looking forward to it.
Enjoy!
Dear Sweet Carol,
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you for visiting me, even when I didn't have time to visit you. First, I love, love, love the two paintings you made for your granddaughters. I'm sure they are proud of these lovely works of art. They are gorgeous.
And of course, I like the painting and doodles from this week, and really like the background on the face.
You asked if I bake my Sculpey in a dedicated oven or conventional oven. Yes, I have a dedicated toaster oven that sits in my basement. I would NEVER bake in my conventional oven, although I showed how you could do it using two pie pans OR a cookie tin with its own lid in another post (see my right sidebar under Lesson 17 of my free AB class).
Again, thank you beyond belief for your constant and continued support. Your comments always mean so much to me, even when I don't show it.
Such a sweet face! :)
