OMG!!!!!!
I am so blessed to be featured this week!!! ♥♥♥♥♥
This could not have come at a better time :)
Life has been a tad bit more stressful in the past few weeks than normal and this is really a Bright and Shining Star in my life :) Thank you so much!!!!!
I've always been a Creative Soul... even as a child with a driving need to be making something. For years I considered myself a hobbyist at best with my art. In November of 2011 I took my first online art class... Katie Kendrick's " LAYERED IMPRESSIONS" and it seemed that the real artist that had always lived inside me woke up and SCREAMED .. "LET ME DO MY THING!!!!"
I have played with every medium I could get my hands on and taken every class I could scrape up the money for.
My artist soul became alive.
I drive my family and friends nuts I'm sure with all of my "Show & Tells". I just can't stop creating things. I guess there are many worse addictions a person can have.
Actually I was debating whether or not to share the finished painting this week since it is a gift and I haven't given it to my granddaughter yet. They do not come to my blog at all though so I figure it's safe to share. I also finished one for the other granddaughter too and will share them both today.
This is the one that the face was the feature photo this week.
"She Flies With Fish"
..... and this is for the other granddaughter...
The wings and dress were done with iridescent glazes and it's very hard to get a good photo of them...but I'm sure she will love it.
I did do other art this week too but will save them for another post. This one is getting long enough.
Sharing some thoughts for today too..

Love that first quote, actually reading them again, I like them all.
You made me laugh when you mentioned how you drive everybody nuts with show and tells and taking as many art classes as possible, sounds like you were describing me.
Loved your post and never think it's too long; I enjoyed all of it.
