Paint Party Friday

It's REALLY Spring!
After the ever so long and ever so cold winter Spring has finally arrived to stay. So the last few weeks have found me mostly outside working in the yard. I've tried to get in some art here and there but it's been difficult when all I can think of is what I'm going to plant where and when :)
I'm so far behind in my life book that I'll probably be retired before it's finished .....and that's a few years away yet.
Here is the only art project that I did get totally finished since I posted last....way back in early April.

It's my first ever pop-up art and one of the lessons in LifeBook. Week six actually so now you know just how far behind I really am.
Here are a couple of WIP's that really have no definition of where they are going yet ...other than I have flowers on my mind :)
Today's thought...

“We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.”

  4. I loved pop up books as a kid and I still love them! I still have petunias to plant and some lavender and basil. Hoping to get it done today if there is no running around that needs to be done. Enjoy your garden, it will soon be too hot. Oh, and it IS a skunk. We may try your idea but need to make sure there are no babies under there that would die and create more stink. CH trapped him/her yesterday morning but it managed to get out of the trap as he pulled the trap away from the house. Sigh. Enjoy your weekend!

  5. Hi Carol,

It's hard to stay in when the sun and the birds are calling you outdoors. Plant your garden,I know when you sit back for a rest the paper and paints will be waiting for you. Lovely pop up card.
