Paint Party Friday

It's Friday already ?
Where has all of the time gone?
I've been busy busy here with some of my other projects around here and not a whole lot of painting going on.
I've been working with the herbs that having been hanging all around the house :)
Getting them cleaned off of their stems and into jars and labeled. Also made up some salves and tinctures.

I also had to work up a batch of soap for and order and for us and my daughter. I hadn't realized we were so low. This time I used the stems from some of the herbs and simmered them in water for a good will and then used this infused water in one batch of soap. I really like the way it turned out a LOT! I had use sage and added a small amount of Patchouli EO and it smells wonderful I'll be making more of that real soon.

So now to the art. Which is really why we're here to begin with :)
This week I finished another Echinacea done with acrylics on a 12in X 12in canvas.

''THINKING OF SUMMER"
I seem to have summer and flowers on my mind a lot this weeks.
