On one of my rambles through the blog world one of them was about painting and drawing heart shaped faces. Sorry I can't remember who or where. One of those things that I wished later I had bookmarked it because I couldn't get the idea out of my mind.
It's an acrylic background with a colored pencil and ink drawing. Just something fun and whimsical to lighten the mood today.
I started a Memorial piece for 9/11 but got so caught up in the memories of that horrible day that I had to stop. Maybe I'll finish that one on another date.. it will always be fresh in my mind and heart.

Hi Carol,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sophia, your lady is definitely cute. I like how her face and torso are both hearts and her swirly hair! Very whimsical and fun!

ReplyDeleteI'll look as well for that piece. On morning I had a group of 7th graders in front of me. Advised by a secretary I turned the TV on to watch the Today Show with my class. I tried to reassure and explain. A day never to be forgotten.
ReplyDeleteCute! I love her swirly hair.
