Sunday Sketches

On one of my rambles through the blog world one of them was about painting and drawing heart shaped faces. Sorry I can't remember who or where. One of those things that I wished later I had bookmarked it because I couldn't get the idea out of my mind.
It's an acrylic background with a colored pencil and ink drawing. Just something fun and whimsical to lighten the mood  today.
I started a Memorial piece for  9/11 but got so  caught up in the memories of that horrible day that I had to stop. Maybe I'll finish that one  on another date.. it will always be fresh in my mind and heart.

  2. Hi Carol,
I agree with Sophia, your lady is definitely cute. I like how her face and torso are both hearts and her swirly hair! Very whimsical and fun!
    Cheers,

  6. I'll look as well for that piece. On morning I had a group of 7th graders in front of me. Advised by a secretary I turned the TV on to watch the Today Show with my class. I tried to reassure and explain. A day never to be forgotten.
