T Stands for Tuesday

It's Tuesday again...
A week that lasted much longer than many this year.
We are all still reeling from the attacks in Paris last week. Words can not express the grief of the world.
I altered one of my older journal pages to express the sadness that America feels right now.
All of the new meds seem to be working for me and each day I feel better and have more energy. Today I even ventured out to do a small bit of Christmas shopping. One store and I was done for the day . LOL!
It was very wet and cold today. I think our warmer days are going to be few and far between from now on.
The algae has come back on the split rail fence at the end of the driveway.
I love looking at all of the intricate patterns it has.

The ornamental grass looks best in the fall when it develops it seed heads. I leave it all winter and then cut it back in early spring for the new season.
Here's my drink today ..my one and only cup of coffee. The little birds in the background are waiting for a new coat of paint before they go on one of the bathrooms walls.
Today's Random Thoughts

  1. What great news that you are getting stronger and your meds seem to be working.

I was in awe of the beautiful art you created in your journal honoring the French. It was a beautiful and quite fitting spread.

I was also moved by your quotes this week. These seemed to say everything I couldn't.

Thanks for sharing your algae, your beautiful art, and your mug of coffee with us for T this week. It's SO good to read you are feeling better.

  5. That is good news! Meds that help. I'm so glad you are feeling a bit better.
The tribute to Paris is beautiful. Such a horrid thing to have happened and all so senseless.
The pampa grass is stunning. In our town they have planted them on a traffic roundabout and they look spectacular. He, you are like me, looking at algae. I remember going on a geological study trip. Everyone was studying the rocks but i was fascinated by the lichen and the algae.
    Have a good T-Day,

  6. I am happy your treatment is working for you. I love those photos from your garden, makes me realize how little time I have, no, how little time I TAKE, for the small things in my environment. Your Thoughts are also provoking, in the best way. Love that photo of the alpine choughs, they remind me of a trip we made to the Swiss alps. Happy T-Day!

  8. I'm glad your meds are doing the job. I got a kick out of your wagon wheel. I have Mother's, which she had painted black, on my patio where I can see it while I'm on the computer. We get some lichen that looks like that on wood pieces on the ground. I think pieces of it look wonderful in a terrarium or a potted plant. Happy T Tuesday!

  12. Good Morning, Carol! Happy to hear you are feeling better. We got 5 and a half inches of rain yesterday... crazy! Love the ornamental grasses and we leave them all winter too. They look so pretty with a bit of snow on them. Ours have some purple in them this year, that has never happened before! A very nice tribute to Paris!
