Art Every Day Month----- Last Day :(

And so it all comes to an end.... mixed emotions run wild .... I will miss the daily gathering of great people who share a passion for creativity... and feel relieved that I will not have the stress of getting things posted every day. The creating every day was not the challenge for me at all. Getting it posted on time with words that made sense was where the real challenge was :)  But I loved every minute of it. 

 So here is todays art

" Holidays for Heroes" 

This is a great cause organized by the Red Cross to make sure that active duty service people receive cards for the Holidays. You don't even have to send envelopes if you don't want. If you do send envelopes please done seal them as they will have to be unsealed and inspected. Unfortunately this is a must in this day and age.

Well I do believe that I am going to survive another Black Friday :) 

Being at work at 4 am was probably the hardest part....and then staying awake the rest of the day was a MAJOR task too. But I'm home now and ready to take that long hot epson salt bath and curl up on the couch and just chill for the rest of the day :)

I almost forgot to post today .... oops... My art today is random doodles in white and colored gel pens on  a sprayed and painted background. I would draw a little bit ...go do some boring house work and then come back and reward myself with more fun doodling :) I love to doodle ♥

Art Every Day Month ----Days # 19 & # 20

Today is a double post.... took yesterday off to get some of the much neglected house work  done. Did take time to create in the evening but not to post. 

So here is Day # 19 

A circle doodle which will probably end up in a Christmas Card  to some poor unsuspecting soul :) 

Day # 20 is a rather distorted sketch which will hopefully rearrange itself when I get around to painting it .

Art Every Day Month --- Day 18

Day # 18 

WOW!!!

The month is zipping by already :) 

Today I woke up with a horrible sinus migraine...called off work...took lots of drugs and went back to bed. Woke up feeling jet lagged and out of sorts but headache was pretty much gone. 

I had already sprayed the background of these pages and pretty much knew I wanted to use a bird stencil I had....but was drawing a blank on everything else. Decided to just go ahead and start stenciling and see what happened. As I painted the  song 

"Dream a Little Dream of Me"  started going through my head. So I flipped over to Youtube and played the Mama Cass  version of the song....over and over. Then I knew what I wanted to do. 

I penciled in the basic face with a 'Conto' white pastel pencil....

Then painted her.... still felt it wasn't finished yet so I added highlights to her hair and put lined her flower hairpiece with gel pens .
I may go back and out line the birds with gel pens too....still thinking on that one.
