Just barely squeezing in under the line for 29 Faces in May :0)
Ever since they have start the advertising for " Dark Shadow" I have wanted to paint Johnny Depp as Barnabas. Since the theme for Butterfly effect this week is "Vampires" I just had to try painting Johnny.
I didn't think I was going to have the energy to finish him due to my Fibromyalgia giving me problems this week....but I pushed myself to get it done so I can participate and finish the whole May challenge :0)
So "HERES JOHNNY!!!!"

Being a Johnny Depp fan myself I love these. You really capture his Barnabas Collins character perfectly. I still haven't had a chance to see the movie but maybe this weekend.

He looks great and so smart ;) love the blueish shadows in his face, very spooky ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that Johnny doesn't mind looking completely ridiculous for a role. Most other leading men would have tried to go the Sexy Vampire route. Wouldn't you love to hang out with him and Tim Burton when they get these ideas?
ReplyDeleteI'd say you did a great job capturing Johnny as Barnabas.
