The background was already there made with left over paints from a previous painting. Just stared at it for a few minutes until a shape began to form and went with it.
Hi Carol, Love the colours. I too create my background pages from left over paints. Some days I will just sit and paint several backgrounds in my journal as I hate starting with a blank page. Keep up the wonderful work. See you tomorrow :)
What a cool way to make a painting, Carol. I think it has a name, but I'm not sure what it is. Could it be intuitive method? Anyway, the results are simple wonderful. I love the blues and greens of your background and the beautiful face shining forth from it.

ReplyDeleteLove the hair. Course, blue is one of my favorite colors, but I was drawn to the hair first and then the eyes. Love it.
